I started this company, Unique Sites Web Design in March of 1999 with the goal of providing web design services to entrepreneurs & small businesses. My Roots & Experience: I was born a creative type. Starting as a kid who couldn't stop drawing - I honed my skills and landed a full merit scholarship to Washington University School of Fine Arts, where I earned my BFA degree in 1980. Since that time I have expanded creatively into music as well - I play accordion in a Zydeco band. Ten years ago I was swept up by computers and was soon working full-time doing computer-aided design of signs. My years of experience in the sign trade led me deeper into computer graphics. At the same time the Internet was taking shape and emerged as the media of the future. I saw that it appealed to me on many levels and I knew that I had the skills and temperament to work with the technology. I am excited by the promise of the internet. As an entrepreneur myself, I know the importance of keeping pace with the trends and staying ahead of the competition. Having a website is becoming a necessity in today's business environment.
